S小魚仔S Novell PlateSpin Protect 11 安裝紀錄 (一)

「Novell」 公司，推出套專門做 虛擬化「備份」軟體，旗下產品分為「PlateSpin Protect」(軟體)、「Platespin Protect Forge」(硬體)。

「PlateSpin Protect」架構是示意圖

「PlateSpin Protect」，可以安裝於「Windows Server 2012」、「Windows Server 2012 R2」、「Windows Server 2008」、「Windows Server 2008 R2」、「Windows Server 2008 R2」、「Windows Server 2003 SP2」、「Windows 8」、「Windows 8.1」。

注意事項:
「PlateSpin Protect」安裝過程，包含「SQL Server 2005 Express」資料庫。
這套「Novell PlateSpin Protect」是我裝過「最」不好裝「產品」( Server 2008、Server 2008 R2 )，問題超多，最後決定使用「Server 2003 SP2」進行「安裝」。

「Windows Server 2003 SP2」32 Bit，安裝紀錄

「.NET Framework 3.5」

「.NET Framework 4.0」

新增「角色」- IIS 和 Asp.Net

註冊「IIS」(Asp.net 2.0) =>「cmd」=>「"C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_regiis.exe" -i」
PS
如果忽略此步驟，則安裝「不會成功」。

開始安裝「PlateSpin Protect」

安裝「SQL Server Express」

安裝完畢，開始安裝「PlateSpin 伺服器」

點選「下一步」

點選「下一步」

驗證「伺服器」( SQL Server Express)

點選「下一步」

點選「下一步」

詢問「是/否」要使用「Http」進行「連接」

選擇「安裝位置」

點選「下一步」

漫長等待...總是值得....，等久了，就安裝好了.

完成上述「步驟」，啟用「FireWall」( 80 Port) 

登入「Web Console」，「https://192.168.0.32/protect/」，
預設「帳號」、「密碼」，為「Windows」本機「Administrator」帳號。

「成功」登入...^_^"



若您很無聊想要「登入」SQL Server Express 資料庫。
安裝「Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 RTM - Management Studio Express」
驗證方式「本機」驗證，即可「登入」。

S小魚仔S WhatsUp Gold 配置手冊 (一)

長久以來，網路管理一直是IT部門裡面人員最少，同時工作也最為繁瑣的一項工作。除了要確保網路連線與頻寬使用正常外，還要注意內部網路的順暢、架構的合理性，偶爾還要顧及相關設備的穩定性 。

WhatsUp Gold 是一套專門「監控」系統發出「警報軟體」，類似軟體有「Cacti」、「Zabbix」、「SpiceWorks」。

WhatsUp Gold 可以透過以下幾種「驗證方式」進行「主機監控」，「SNMP」-「Windows」-「ADO」-「Telnet」-「SSH」。

透過「WhatsUp Gold 」設定常用的「 SNMP V1」配置，其中「SNMP」分為「SNMP V1」、「SNMP V2」、「SNMP V3」

PS

「防火牆」需「啟用」、「 UDP 161」、「UDP 162」

「WhatsUp Gold 」配置「 SNMP V1」

進入「WhatUp Gold」登入「網頁」

點選「GO」=>「Configure」=>「Credentials Library」

設定「SNMP V1」驗證，點選「Edit」

1.配置「名稱」(隨意取)

2.配置「SNMP Read Community」為「Snmp_V1」(群體名稱)

配置「Server 2003 R2」啟用「SNMP」服務

「控制台」=>「新增或移除程式」

點選「新增/移除」元件，找到「Management and Monitoring Tools」

啟用「SNMP」

「執行」輸入「Services.msc」

只到「SNMP Service」

進行「SNMP Service」配置，在「代理程式」啟用「需要」服務

在「安全性」=>「接受群體名稱」=>「新增」

輸入「群體名稱」(Snmp_V1)

設定「SNMP」封包，可以接受「那些」主機，進行「派送」，指向「SNMP Server」

在「防火牆」，啟用「UDP 161」、「UDP 162」

最後啟用「檔案及印表機共用」，這是一定需要「啟用」，這樣「Ping」的「協定」才會通

「WhatsUp Gold 」配置「 加入」監控主機

建立「群組」

輸入「群組」名稱

加入「設備」或「主機」

輸入「設備 或 主機」IP

進行「封包」傳遞，擷取「資訊」

顯示「資訊清單」

點選「Credentials」(驗證)， 選擇「SNMP」

選擇「監控項目」

 設定完成後，在「Devices」會找到「群組」內「主機」，點選「主機」

在「Active Monitor」可以看到「剛剛」監控「項目」

點選「Reports」

就可以看到「當前」硬碟「大小」

Server 2008 R2 啟用「SNMP」配置

 Server 2012 R2 啟用「SNMP」配置

WhatsUp Gold，功能其實不只「這些」，甚至還能「發警報」、收集「Event Log」.....等，有機會再多寫一點。

PS
「WhatsUp Gold」安裝過程，若您皆採用「預設值」。
Web 登入 最高權限，帳號「admin」密碼「admin」。
SQL Server Express 登入，帳號「sa」、密碼「WhatsUp_Gold」(注意大小寫)
